While shopping this weekend, I passed a woman on her cell phone talking loud enough for anyone to hear, “I can’t seem to catch up with anything!” Sound familiar?
I understand. SO easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of the season.
What helps me?
Focusing on my relationship with God and my family. I feel especially blessed that God came into the world in the form of His Son to save me and you.
Over the years, one of my favorite traditions has been being in the St. Luke’s United Methodist Church Live Nativity with my son, Robbie, and daughter, Anna.
I typically get the donkey because I’m the biggest one. Trust me, that donkey WILL move down the aisle if I have to…
And Robbie’s great with animals, even able to tell the handler some things he didn’t know about the camel. But watch for the llama!
Anna? When she was young, she wanted to be a vet and now, her passion is acting. So she’s on stage at the Live Nativity! Look for the goat.
St. Luke’s, 100 W. 86th Street, will offer this great time for remembering the miracle of Jesus’ birth on Saturday, December 13 at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
Would love to see you there!
